Received my copies of The Emerald Tablet, edited by Derek Fenner (Bootstrap Press/ TOC ripped from Derek's Tumblr). "A one off" magazine based on a conceit, the conceit being "The Emerald Tablet, also known as the Smaragdine Table, or Tabula Smaragdina, is a compact and cryptic piece of Hermetica reputed to contain the secret of the prima materia and its transmutation." Basically Derek invited all of the writers included to read The Emerald Tablet (we were sent a large .pdf containing an introduction by Derek, a history of the Tablet as well as variant translations w/ commentary) and then respond to it in any way we liked, the idea being that once he had material he would publish it as a stand alone magazine.
I have a couple extra copies, if you'd like one let me know. Would be great if you planned to write something about it on your blog/ Tumblr whathaveyou.
I think Derek plans to publish The Emerald Tablet magazine as a .pdf sometime in the new year.
