Dear diary,

I've been wanting to put out a magazine that has really cool stuff in it.

Submission Guidelines for Hair Flip: Succession

We are currently looking for submissions to the first issue of Hair Flip: Succession Issue for this coming April 2006. Hair Flip Magazine is welcome to all genres of writing including poetry, prose, visual/written essays, art, photography, film, all of which any kind of _expression reflects the topic: Succession.

For this issue, it is up to you to decide what succession means in however any way that you want to describe it as a gesture, noise, object, theory, font type, mannerism, thing, whatever.

Submission Deadline: March 15th 2006

First Issue release: April

Please send your work in Microsoft Word to fmolina@naropa.net or check out Sabrina Calle's MySpace page.

Poetry: 1-5 pgs.

Prose: 1-5 pgs.

Visual/Written Essays: 5-10 pgs.

Art/Photography: 1-5 images.

Film: 5-10 minutes.

P.S. Today in class, one of the words on the vocabulary test was "succession". What does that mean?
