onward and outward!

okay...got the tiger X 4.3 OS...lo and behold, it's a DVD...lo and behold my disc drive doesn't support DVDs...so, i'm going to take my computer to the Mac Guys on the Hill where they will hook up an external firewire DVD drive and install for me ($70)...saving me $250 on buying my own firewire DVD drive...only thing is, i ride a skateboard...so, i'm going to get offline right now and call the Boulder folkers with cars to see if they feel like towing me and my gimpy ass computer up the hill...eh...eh...herm...why can't this all just be done with?
