Six Feet Under Disc 2 Season 5- yeah, i mean, what can i say about the best television drama ever produced?

...currently listening to The Doors American Prayer...(pretty sure the critics have collectively agreed that American Prayer is a heaping pile of pretentious dog shit...keep in mind though, it was produced/ pasted together long after Morrison's death, AND i was 15 when i bought it...) (though for a real good time you should here Ray Manzerik's keyboard version of Carmina Burana...oh boy! that's a dusie)

i remember seeing Ray Manzerik perform solo at The Great American Music Hall in SF a few years ago...i was in The Doors heaven...i was a serious fan throughout my teen years...in fact, as embarassing as it is to admit now, i credit Morrison/ The Doors for my initial interest in poetry...that's a fact (laugh at me if you must)...so, seeing Ray live for me was tantamount to seeing a childhood god...

...after his performance Ray opened up the show for an audience Q & A...the best moment was when this fan asked what he (Ray) thought of Stone's The Doors movie...Ray replied "i hated it, that movie was terrible, i mean, why was Val Kilmer walking like that? [Ray demonstrates acid trippy Kilmer strut], fucking christ, Jim could walk like a normal human being..."...i thought that was prettty great...

okay, there was a 45 minute maintenace delay going on at blogger so...now currently listening to Spice 1 AmeriKKKa's Nightmare...my all time favorite line from this record "i shoot the head off your motherfuckin' cow!!!"...
