i played a 9th level wizard named Gandor Farin until the 10th grade...
mage's and rogues were my flavor...
i dm'd the Planescape campaign setting for a couple years...
francois, we are totally the BIGGEST dorks in the scene...but at least we have a couple chicks in our corner who are just as dorky...

i totally digged planescape and dark sun. i also dm'ed in earthdawn's setting, a game from fasa (the guys who did shadowrun). i found the rules too complicated so i ditched them and used the d&d one.
character-wise, i played until my première class a 9th-level elven mage-thief and an 8th-level human specialty priest.
oh, we are such dorks!
