Oh, yeah ... That photo. That was around the time when the chairwoman of this anime convention (Oni-Con) was insane enough to give me an almost carte blanche to organize the concert section, despite my professed loathing of anime fanboys and fangirls. Three days trying to avoid them, yet hundreds of photos taken of me. The coolest part was actually hanging out and befriending the band echostream (the band I really wanted to get, Phantasmagoria being the one I got to get people to see echostream).
Now, I wish you had selected better photos, like this one, this one, this one or this one.
This is all too good to be true.
John, if you started a poet-fashionista blog, I can guarantee you my hedge fund salary that you'll soon get more hits than Silliman.

by the way, did you know i was the treasurer of the anime club in highschool?
me and you would've been best friends...
i was somehow coerced into becoming the vice-president of the anime club at the university of houston during my sophomore year. i used my tenure to show mostly japanese rock music videos and japanese soap opera. they now really hate my guts.
i just collected the money so we could buy sailor moon toys...
