ouch...

sitting her drinking a can of Pabst in an attempt to cure my whiskey hangover...party tonight at Feliz's house...happy birthday Feliz...

last night was fun, weird...i don't think i have the energy to think about it...lot's of mischief with Sabrina in cahoots...most of it involving this dude called "FUCKIN' MIKE!"...as in "what's up guys? let's all do some Jager! i'm FUCKIN' MIKE!!!"...to which i replied "well, you look like "Fuckin' Sammy Hagar!!!" to which i thought he was going to reply buy punching me in the face but he bought us lots of shots instead...this dude actually did look like Sammy Hagar...he was wearing a black silk button up shirt that was emblazoned with 4 inch martini glass patterns...and the buttons, oh man the buttons on this shirt were, you guessed it, little silver martini glasses...he wanted to mack on Sabrina so we quickly concocted a story...she was my little sister...our father being Greek and mother being Colombian...after a while "FUCKIN MIKE!" couldn't help but remark about how much alike we looked...he was like "you guys have beautiful eyes (again with the eyes!), it's you're FUCKIN' eyes man, look at her fuckin' eyes dood, seriously, you guys look SO FUCKIN' alilke!!!"...then "FUCKIN MIKE" wanted to take a "family portrait" of me and Sabrina...
"FUCKIN' MIKE" was loud but mostly drunk, he was a dork but totally sweet..."FUCKIN' MIKE" eventually asked Sabrina out to dinner to which Sabrina agreed as long as her big brother Johnny (me) could go...he looked a little confused, mostly drunk, a little trapped and replied "fuck yeah, fuckin' Johnny can come!!!" yadda yadda yadda sort of anticlimactic, guess you had to be there...

Suspect Zero- the subject of the movie was sadly more interesting than the movie itself...remote viewing...psychic spies...very real phenomena/ programs sponsored by the government from 1975 to 1995...the extra stuff was fantastic, interviews with former government remote viewers, their psychic drawings and notes, info about their contributions to Cold War "RV target spying"...

read Spell and loved it, i hope Eric does another issue (noticed that one of my BOTH BOTH envelopes had been turned into a piece of masking tape art...it's the one with my chicken scratch handwriting at the top left...says half of my address and "Boulder"...

also read David Collier's Portraits From Life...DC is my new favorite comics artists/writer, another homerun from Drawn & Quarterly...

...currently listening to Various Artists Anthology Of American Folk Music Disc 4...
