Anne Waldman was fantastic last night. afterwards, drinks at Vesuvio's with some conversation about CBGB's, the Naropa poetry wars, Houston TX, Drew Berrymore, NY School women etc. fantastic seeing Koshkin and Jen again, i miss those two. also fantastic meeting Miranda Mellis (one of the editor's of The Encyclopedia Project).

I'm pissed. I discovered Anne Waldmann was in Houston for a couple of days in the papers. Saw a friend at the CWP at UH and expressed my discontent for not telling me. And then my surprise because Anne W. was invited here in the first place.
yeah, she said it was an interesting conference. mark doty is down there right? she was into the students.
Yeah, Doty is here right now. Some of the students here are great, even though they don't socialize much with outsiders (something Koshkin and I discussed when he was down here).
