i love how rambling the first one comes off, even in print...it reads like a toddler speaks...all "and then and then and then...this happend, and then and then, that thing happend and then and then..." and the whole time mommy is all "yes, honey, oh wow...really, um huh...oooh...yes? uh, oh..." not paying any attention at all...

the one on top is a hoax, hoax kinda like the billboard liberation front.

actually they are not hoaxes. the first day they went up, i jumped on the wagon and thought that too. but then they were up for a week... and i asked a bus driver about them. he said they're actual MUNI ads intended to "humanize" the MUNI experience.

yeah, not hoaxes. there's a new story up on sfist today about how they are actually like, totally fucking real.

my favorite quote from the sfist discussion on this hilarity...

"This is what happens when you get an "artist" to do ads for a bureaucrat."

i amon the outs with sfist because i think their editor is a giant bag of douche :(

are you trying to say this is a complete ripoff of lauren's project?

brock IS the editor. he's so awful. all he does is make terrible jokes that are only funny to a fraction of the gay population, and kisses beth spotswood's ass. which is an entirely different story altogether. but on top of that, SFist is never "on it" anymore... they're always a day or two behind the news.

Oh, I'd LOVE to know that story!
