I love this dude, my old roommate, Red Sox REPROBATE, what a dude! hella've poet, he made me realize that it was okay to not be into Elvis Costello, I remember he had girlfriends at Naropa, one of those guys! One time Andy printed out a cardboard copy of my face and wore it for Halloween, check him out! love that dude!

The AL East is a 3020 slobbering dog neighbor.
Your care packages are a dream
of Wade Bogg's Mustache
& you are a toast in this house of friends-

91. Batman: Arkham Asylum A Serious House On Serious Earth- Grant Morrison, Dave Mckean
DC Comics
Jesus Louise what a book! yeah, best Batman I've read, Dave McKean's art, fuuuuuugh...I didn't want this one to end, reread it 3 times before retiring it to the bookshelf, went out and bought all of Morrison's The Invisibles immediately after, can't wait to dig into those guys, I think Derek Fenner told me The Invisibles were the jam, have you seen Derek's OCCULT library? fuuuuuugh...
I'm listening to Van Morrison's Astral Weeks by the way, my Mom bought me some vinyl for Christmas! yeah yeah Mom!

90. The New Sentence- Ron Silliman
Roof Books
I really enjoyed this book, kind of surprised by my reaction to it, because like Robert Greiner "I HATE THEORY," shit, that's not what he said is it? I really do detest the poetics in practice of "the new sentence," I hate prosey poetry, even if it is LANGUAGE based, maybe more so, fucking giant blocks of giant paratactic long lines, gag me with a spoon! I've always really likes Silliman's books though, the dude has moxy! it's just what his style led to with less skilled poets that sinks the ship.

87. Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban- J.K. Rowling
Scholastic Press
This is the third one, man these books are boring. My assistant at work really loves them though. She told me they play Quidditch in real life, that a human runs around as the Golden Snitch, I don't know man, seems pretty dorkasaurasrex.

my blurb for Laura's The Fugitive Notebook, just out from Couch Press
"Laura Moriarty has written a noir poem, a serial serial. The Fugitive Notebook is a poem of searching and seeing, of slippages and identity, it’s about the roles we play, and the disguises we wear, “the present invades// the past/ falls.” Like a detective working her way through the facts, Moriarty weaves a lyric narration at once deeply personal and teasingly elusive; but the clues are hiding in plain sight if you know where to look, revealing themselves discreetly as the reader proceeds through this hard boiled poem."
