Plus, if you live in Danville you can totally get away with liking crap bands, like Limp Bizkit, korn, Lincoln or do they spell it Linkon Park, GodSmack and others like this.
i don't get it, are you saying because you're from concord you can't get away with liking godsmack? meaning, you like godsmack and wish you could get away with liking them but because you are from concord you can't?
people should stop hating on danville on my blog. antioch hating is cool on my blog, but not danville.
call me optimistic, but i don't think anyone likes those bands anymore (danville or otherwise).
i think the crap band hegemony we know and love is long gone and has naturally morphed into something else...what that is i don't know (Ciara? Fall Out Boy? Black Eyed Peas?), maybe, probably, but i wouldn't know how to criticize those bands in any meaningful way (and i've already blogged about Fergi biting M.I.A. like 2 years ago so...)...i think that's a sign were getting old (me and you brother). it's hard to speculate about the tastes of the masses (?) when we have no idea what the masses are actually listening to these days...
anyway, i think the masses (?) these days are listening to "indie-rock" and riding fixies...but that could just be a coastal thing...but then like Tory said "i went back to Utah last week and everybody was on fixies...it was weird..."
and anyway, i like the masses...stop picking on the masses.
I don't have any of my music in my car so I go to 105.3 when in the east bay....horrible...godsmack and what not. I hate the masses, on and off your blog.
I think the rest of this country has been on fixies for the past 3 years of so. My friend Elizabeth was riding a fixie (with a Schwinn frame as she liked to remind me) when we were both living in Houston.
Seriously, people liked Godsmack at some point? First time I heard them, I thought "Oh, new Alice in Chains? Wait, no, it sounds like crap."

My brain smells like dojo....cause I'm always in training...to kick your ass.
that was actually a really bad comment and I now feel like i am almost from danville.
you can delete comments by hitting the trashcan icon, i'm just saying.
both of you are "almost from danville".
like, what?
Dude, Danville is to Concord as Los Altos is to Redwood City
danville's not so bad. it's clean there. concord's not clean.
