a coffee-river runs through it...

ha! i'm back...okay what else...

um yeah, so i met Noah and his partner Sarah Veglahn at his Left Hand reading...nice to finally put voice to work...he gave a robust (?) reading...lot's from his Tougher Disguises book, The Frequencies, as well as new work...i'm not sure if it was his reading style or the work itself but the word anthemic comes to mind...like some great Eddie Van Halen solo for a half an hour...check out his hilariously astute city-report on Denver over at Fascicle...

Michael Friedman (of Shiny) read from his new novel...science fiction right up Naropa's alley a la Chip Delany...a quote "they were the Archie and Veronica of Naropa"...really funny stuff...i'll have photos of both readers up on flickr within the next few days...also a picture of that cute tumbler right before i put it into my backpack...

okay, i should probably get back to work...Blaser here i come!
