yeah, i'm sitting here working on a tape of his from 80...a workshop on Shakespeare...i mean, students and faculty (who are sitting in) are throwing questions at him and he's on automatic reply...like, this fucker (RIP) not only knows everything about Shakespeare but British History...AND Roman History...AND Greek history...and then the group eventually just starts asking him questions in general...like "so has incest always been taboo?" to which he replies by going into Freud, an anthopological rant about the natives to a specific island, british and french royal families...i'm like...shoot...you know, just shoot...
