see, genre stuff gets murky. i've put THE FLY in my top 10 horror picks, and i was never quite sure if ALIEN (which i think is just OK) was sci-fi or horror, either.
i think anything cronenberg does can be considered both sci-fi and horror...that's why he's probably my favorite director of all time.
alien i would consider more sci-fi than horror...a world as rendered as the alien world has to be sci-fi in my book...
yeah, i agree that ALIEN has to go in sci-fi first. escpecially if i'm putting TERMINATOR in sci-fi.
cronenburg definitely kicks ass.
