monday monday monday...

graduation!!!

  • my list from Steve Evans' Attention Span 2005 is just up...along with Noah's and Friedlander's

  • didn't do much this weekend...mostly stayed in my boxers and watched baseball and television movies...drank a bunch of Rolling Rock beer in lament of Anheiser Busch buying them out...

the Hot Whiskey reading staring Jared Hayes, Joe Cooper, Andy Peterson and Liz Guthrie was great...officially a belated Insuring The Wicker Man release reading but mostly a collaborative event between the four readers, it was like watching some kind of deranged-Burroughs-inspired troubodour recital...i was more than a little perved when i showed up so there was a lot of hooting and hollering from me in the back, Hollo looked annoyed...

read a bunch of books that i'll list later...

decided that i need to stop dicking around and get to some serious work on projects while i have the free time here in boulder...i've been reading too much, neglecting my own work...so, that's a resolution...

i'm at work right now about to finish up a Berkson tape from 78'...

hum ... congrats again ... i've been neglecting some projects as well (i.e., the comic corpse). the first page was sketched about two weeks ago. i now need to actually draw and ink it.

i wonder what hollo looks like when he is peeved. hoagland, on the other hand, looks constantly afraid.

yeah, lauren was asking "what's up with the comic collabo..."

in other news i read lauren's The Bus comic/ chapbook...which is amazing...you should ask her for a copy (are you guys myspace friends yet?)...

oh, yeah, i've been distracted by my translation of esmail kho'i's work, after mehregan told me that i was going to read the translations three days before the reading.

not to mention that i ran out of china ink, can't find my quill and my ruler and a bunch of other excuses.
